I rise.
Again. And again.
Not as the morning bird
whose song springs
to sudden glorious life
at the dawning of the light,
but as the sun
who touches the horizon
with tender fingertips
before reaching open arms
across the sky
to embrace another day
to weather the storms
to stand tall and breathe fire
and then to descend into rest
until it’s time to rise again.
And again
I rise.

Asking for help is a sign of strength.

If you are looking for help with healing from narcissistic abuse and the emotional abuse, anxiety, depression, guilt, shame, grief/loss, low self-worth, lonliness, and/or the trauma bonding and psychological indoctrination that comes with it, you’ve found the right person. As a survivor myself, I am trauma-informed and in my last semester to be licensed in May with my psychiatric prescriptive privileges in private practice. This work is one of my primary careers and definitely one of my greatest purpose works. The way in which we cope in the world is greatly influenced by those around us. Asking for help, gaining psychoeducation, experiencing validation from the outside in, and ultimately being equipped with an arsenal of coping skills leads to validation from the inside out and entirely new level of wholeness. This work is often the most profound step toward developing the mental and emotional health needed to become stronger than ever before. The more support you gain, the better equipped you will be, and you will ultimately walk in an entirely new level of intuition regarding the dark and often dangerous energy of the covert narcissist. I also work with victims of overts, they just tend to be fewer in number because most average people can see them coming from a mile away. Not so with the different forms of coverts.

**Update: I can currently take about 6-12 new clients. No fear! If you are on my waitlist I will call you! If not, that’s okay too! I still have a little room and am genuinely trying to see as many people as I can, which is why I went 100% virtual. Its so much more flexible, and if a client needs to get in quickly, they don’t have to wait 6 weeks! For any new client, the first session has to be 75 minutes in order to get the breadth and depth of information I need to collaborate with you and develop your personalized treatment plan. This 1 appointment is $125, the others are 60 minutes and $100. I also decided to ditch insurance and take private pay only because I wasn’t happy and neither were my clients. Everything isn’t cut and dry in the world of recovery from NA. The 50 minute strict cut off for the $125 plus an hour of filling out forms for one client to have 3 additional sessions approved is just too restrictive to thrive in this area. I did try to mitigate some of the financial barriers, however, by investing the time and money I was spending on taking insurance back into my clients. This resulted in me dropping my specialist rate of $150 (avg. is $150-$200) to that of a generalist at $100 (avg is $100-$150). If $100 is doable for you and you think we would be a good fit, please reach out to me! I don’t have Ms. Grace my sweet assistant with me at the moment but it’s no problem just reach out to me! Thank you for considering my practice!

The Benefits of Therapy

Psychotherapy can be an effective tool in providing you with the necessary support and training to overcome one of the most egregious forms of abuse in my clinical opinion. By seeking therapy, you are taking responsibility and being pro-active to let go of what no longer adds value to your life. In this area, TI-CBT, DBT, brainspotting (working on this now), psychiatry, and ACT are all backed by empirical research regarding best practice techniques and modalities for NA.

In addition to personal experience, I have extensive clinical and didactive experience in this specialty. It is my honor to assist you in getting back to better! I pull specific evidence-based practice techniques from each of these modalities to collaborate and develop a plan of care unique to each and every client I work with.

With honesty and compassion, I will support you through a safe, open channel of communication. The objectives of our therapy sessions will be created together and will be personal and unique to you. The overarching goals will be to help you gain insight, process emotions, examine priorities, develop coping skills, and learn new techniques to help you shake the chains that bind u and begin to live a deliberately curated life on purpose. No longer will you be stuck in the driver’s seat of a car that’s be unknowingly hijacked by a trauma bond. We will work together to call each and every hook and chain what it is, label it, process it, and move on systematically until the only one left standing is you. With a background heavily effected by TI-CBT, you will have topic-specific journaling work. This is completely different from free-writing journaling and lights up a different part of your brain entirely. When we give journaling or
